Finance, people, and documents

This is an example of a focused engagement, not a promised customer result. The actual scope is agreed with the business before work begins.

The recurring problem

Routine records and document work often require repeated checking, copying, and exception handling.

What we examine

We identify which records are suitable for a narrow pilot and which decisions must remain with the responsible person.

What a narrow pilot may handle

Prepare or perform only the agreed low-risk updates using the approved workflow.

Human control

Higher-risk, unusual, or externally consequential changes require explicit review.

What we measure

Processing time, exception rate, approval rate, and rework required.

What determines next steps

At the end of the pilot, we review the agreed evidence together and explicitly decide to stop, continue, or expand.

Inputs to agree before starting

An approved, access-limited document set, a clear classification scheme, and the responsible finance or people-operations owner. Agree sensitive-data exclusions first.

Illustrative deliverable

A document checklist with source references, missing fields, possible duplicates, and an exception queue for the owner. Uncertain matches remain unresolved for human review.

Scope and exclusions

The example does not move money, make employment decisions, file taxes, or provide professional advice. Changes to authoritative records require separately agreed controls.

How to assess the pilot

Compare review time, correctly identified exceptions, false matches, and rework against the existing process. A lower handling time is not sufficient if record accuracy declines.
